For the past thirteen years, Christopher, aged thirty three and from Kirkdale, worked in a factory with no routes up the career ladder. He decided to return to education and enrolled on our University Centre's Optional Integrated Foundation Entry course.

These courses are designed for those who want to study for a Foundation Degree but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to start.

Christopher excelled on his course and progressed to the Foundation Degree in Engineering, graduating with flying colours.
