Tom Rothwell's story
“I feel that being at the University Centre has done much more for me than just provide an education. It has been character building, improving my confidence and my employability.”
Tom studied Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Design/3D Design at Hugh Baird College and progressed to a University of Central Lancashire validated Foundation Degree programme at the Hugh Baird University Centre. After successful completion, he enrolled for one further year on the BA (Hons) Top up in Visual Merchandising and Promotional Design.

"The best thing about being here is the environment and certainly the new University Centre. I have worked on a few live briefs that have been very exciting; liaising and communicating with external clients from pitch level to final production of the brief."
