Course Details

Studying a T-level in Digital Production, Design and Development will provide you with an inspiring curriculum that will offer both the academic knowledge and occupational competency required for a rewarding and exciting career within the digital sector.

Developed in collaboration with employers, a T-level aims to help you gain the high-quality skills to open the door to highly skilled employment, a higher apprenticeship or university.

The course combines the practical learning experiences of a BTEC, the classroom theoretical learning of A-levels and the real-life industry experience of an apprenticeship.

You will complete a minimum of 45 days of industry placement over the 2 year course, allowing you to develop real-life experiences in this industry, as well as make meaningful connections with established professionals and experts. This opportunity is unique to T-levels and gives you a strong head start in this competitive market in terms of progression.

The course offers a range of topics that embed core knowledge before applying and expanding this to your occupational specialism of Digital Production, Design and Development.

The core content for this T-level will cover the following areas:

  • Problem solving
  • Introduction to programming
  • Emerging issues and impact of digital
