I first decided to study the Motor Vehicle course at Hugh Baird College, due to the recommendations from family and friends who had previously studied here. I loved my course so much, I decided to enrol onto the Foundation Degree in Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing) at the Hugh Baird University Centre.

My course really grew my confidence when working in groups, before starting College, I always preferred working by myself, now I love working in a team. The lessons are so varied that you never get bored. I got to strip and rebuild a car’s engine and took trips out to see other types of engines. Now I can’t wait to start my career in the industry.
