Become a Governor
Would you like to play a key role in helping Hugh Baird College in its future development?
The strategic leadership and oversight of Governors is central to the success of the College. Your role as a Governor would be to help in setting the strategic direction of the College and monitoring its achievement.
The Corporation needs Governors who can bring a variety of skills, experience and knowledge. We are currently seeking three new members and we are particularly looking for experience in:
- Digital
- Finance Audit
- Construction
You should be willing to attend Corporation and possibly Committee meetings, as well as keeping up-to-date with the work of the College. Governors give a time commitment of approximately 6 hours per month. No formal qualifications are necessary, just an enthusiasm to work in a voluntary capacity alongside others, helping to ensure that the College continues to meet the needs of its community.
