Course Details

Eating a healthy, varied diet does not mean that you need to buy the most expensive foods. There are plenty of cheap, nutritious and delicious foods available, that you can make healthy meals from. 

This free course will help you plan, prepare and cook your meals, enabling you to cut down on waste and save money.

The course is run as a part time course comprising of one day per week (Wednesday), for three hours over the duration of four weeks.

  • Produce a range of dishes including different ingredients, prepared and cooked
  • Preparation methods including; skinning, boning, trimming, chopping and kneading
  • Cooking methods including; boiling, frying, braising, glazing, sealing, garnishing
