Course Details
This course is designed for learners aged 19 and above who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in computer programming.
The Award in Computer Programming Level 2 will introduce you to the principles of programming and enable you to design and develop your own computer programs using a text-based programming language.
- Principles of programming
- Programming environments
- Program design in response to a client brief
- Development of programs using a text-based programming language
- Testing, refining, documenting, and reviewing programs
Upon completion, you may have the opportunity to progress to a Foundation Degree in Computing at the Hugh Baird University Centre, depending on prior qualifications and experience.
