Course Details

This course provides the opportunity to develop an understanding of different perspectives of death and the impact it has on individuals.

It covers the aims and principles of end of life care, communication factors and how to access a range of support services in end of life care.

It is appropriate for those who have already achieved a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care and are looking to develop their knowledge in this area. This could include workers in hospices, care homes, care in the community and primary care.

As a taster qualification, it can also be used as continuous professional development (CPD) across all levels. This makes it ideal for anyone who may need an understanding of this subject even though they are not directly involved in the care of individuals.
