Course Details
This course is ideal for individuals who either own or plan to own electric or hybrid vehicles, as well as those who work with such cars. The course is tailored to non-technical learners and doesn't require any prior knowledge of electric or hybrid technology.
Upon completion of the course, you'll have gained a fundamental understanding
of how to safely manage and interact with these types of vehicles and the
knowledge and skills to correctly and safely isolate and re-energise an electric
vehicle.
Once you have completed the course, you will;
- Have knowledge and skills in isolating and re-energising high voltage systems in an electric vehicle
- Understand the differences between electric and non-electric vehicles, and how to identify the different types of electric vehicles.
- Understand the importance of adhering to health and safety legislation, regulations, guidelines and workplace procedures and know how to work safely around electric vehicles.
- Understand the hazards associated with working on or around electric vehicles.
