Course Details
This 8-week programme will help you to develop your English Language skills, whilst also learning about British Childcare practices.
Have you ever thought about working with children? Would you like to learn more about a child’s early years in the UK? Would you like to support children’s development through play?
If you would like to explore a career in the Childcare sector or if you’d like to learn more about British practices, then this course is for you. It will support you to gain the skills and knowledge you need to enter the workplace. You will gain valuable work experience and be able to confidently answer questions during an interview.
- Roles and responsibilities of an Early Years Practitioner
- Child development stages
- Child Protection and Safeguarding
- Children’s Health and Nutrition
- Supporting the needs of a child: physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social
Entry 3 Award.
2 days per week for 8 weeks.
- A full-time College course e.g. Professional Cookery and Food and Beverage Service - Level 1.
