Course Details
The T-level Foundation Year aims to give students a broad introduction to the Healthcare and Healthcare Science industries and relevant technical knowledge and practical skills required to be successful. The course provides a high quality route to T-levels, for students who may benefit from additional study time and preparation before progressing on to a Level 3 T-level.
Alongside the technical qualification students will continue with English, math, Science and digital skills to enhance industry required skills.
Work placements with local providers will be an essential feature of this programme and it will provide learners with an insight into working in industry. These local providers could include NHS, Mersey Care the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.
The programme also includes studying Math and English towards GCSE grade 9-4 (old grading system: A*-C) if you do not already have these grades.
