Course Details

This two-year, full-time programme is designed for learners who want to develop their knowledge and skills in sport and exercise, with a clear pathway to higher education.

The course is open to learners aged 16 and above and is ideal for those looking to build a career in the sports industry; whether as a multi-sport or specialist coach, sports nutritionist, sport psychologist, teacher, sports therapist, or performance analyst.

Delivered in an applied, hands-on way, the programme develops the transferable skills, attributes and behaviours needed to progress into further study and, ultimately, employment — combining underpinning knowledge with practical and technical skill development throughout.

Work placements with local schools and sports providers are an essential part of the programme, giving you real-world experience and helping you develop your coaching skills in live environments.
