Course Details

The Vocational Pathways course gives you choices to shape your learning journey before fully committing to your next steps.

If you are not sure whether you want to be a Hairdresser or Beauty Therapist – this pathway will help you choose your future direction. You will gain a valuable insight into the Hair and Beauty sector and will develop the relevant skills and knowledge to start your career. Working both in the practical salon and theory classes, you will build confidence in your abilities within a customer related industry, gaining high levels of customer service and professionalism.

You will also have the ability to study towards your GCSEs in maths and English if you do not already have them.
  • Shampoo and condition hair
  • Facials
  • Hair styling
  • Manicures and pedicures
  • Make up and themed face painting application
Level 1 Certificate in Occupational Studies and a relevant Level 1 qualification in chosen vocation.
