Course Details

This course is for those aged 16 and above who wish to undertake a career in Aviation Ground Services or as Cabin Crew.

The NCFE Level 2 Certificates in Aviation and Cabin Crew enable you to gain two qualifications in one year. This gives the you the opportunity to gain sound knowledge of both the roles available on the ground and in the air. The curriculum incorporates 3 mandatory units and 1 optional unit in Aviation and 6 mandatory units in Cabin Crew. The units are designed to give you the skills to work in the aviation sector and match closely with the employers training programs.

The study program includes close links with employers for example Jet2, EasyJet airlines, Aer Lingus, Ryanair, British Airways, Emirates, TUI Airlines, Royal Air Force, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, the Liverpool Museums, Hays Travel and Perfect Getaways.

Aviation:

  • Unit 1 Health & Safety within Aviation
  • Unit 2 Aviation Security
  • Unit 3 Aviation Communications
  • Unit 9 Passengers with Special Requirements

Cabin Crew:

  • Unit 1 Working as Cabin Crew
  • Unit 2 Airline Health, Safety & Security
  • Unit 3 Aircraft Emergency Situations
  • Unit 4 Dealing with passengers on board the aircraft
  • Unit 5 Cabin Services – Selling Techniques
  • Unit 6 Passenger Announcements
NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Aviation Operations on the Ground (Knowledge) and NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to Cabin Crew.
