As an Early Years Educator, your role is integral in both planning and delivering lively activities, meaningful playtime, and educational programs that resonate with the unique spirit of your setting.

Under the wise guidance and watchful supervision of an Early Years Educator, teacher, or other highly skilled professionals within the early years workforce, your work as an Early Years Educator becomes an enriching journey, where each day brings the gratification of nurturing young minds and hearts.

As an Early Years Educator, you'll have the opportunity to closely observe and assess each child's growth, enriching their learning experiences with your valuable contributions. Paediatric First Aid
In addition to the Early Years Education Level 3 apprenticeship, you will also gain a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid.
Obtaining a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid enriches your skillset, increases your employability in the childcare sector, boosts your confidence in handling emergencies, fulfills regulatory requirements, and crucially, ensures the safety of children under your care.
- Plans and supervises child initiated and adult led activities which are based around the needs and interests of each individual child.
- Supports children to develop numeracy and language skills through games and play.
- Has key person responsibility to help ensure each child feels safe and secure.
- Observes each child and shapes their learning experience to reflect their observations.
- Meets the care needs of the individual child such as feeding, changing nappies and administration of medicine.
- Works in partnership with other colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Aged 16+
- To undertake this apprenticeship you must be working in a childcare setting in a key worker role.
- You must hold five GCSEs (grade 9 - 4) or alternatively, you should have achieved a Level 2 in English and Maths during the preliminary assessment or already possess functional skills Level 2 in these two subjects.

Most apprenticeships take between 12 - 18 months to complete.
Yes, you will be paid by your employer for the duration of your apprenticeship. You will be paid at least the government’s minimum wage rate for apprentices, £3.70. A lot of employers pay their apprentices a higher hourly wage than the minimum rate.
This is ultimately up to your employers, but more than 90% of apprentices stay in employment after their course ends.
