College students offering Halloween makeovers
Terrifying flesh-eating zombies are just one of the haunting Halloween looks available from students at Hugh Baird College this year.
If you’re looking to shock, spook and stand out from the crowd at a Halloween party this year, Media Make Up and Hairdressing students at Hugh Baird College are offering their makeover talents to the public at the College’s Images Salon.
Using prosthetics and up to date hair and make up techniques, the skilled students are able to transform you, with a whole lot of gruesome gore, into a zombie, sugar skull, Pennywise the clown or a werewolf, to name just a few more of their signature looks.
Hugh Baird College Media Make Up tutor Eilidh Sanders, who has worked with international touring theatres, said:
“Our students are looking forward to using their skills to create realistic scary make overs for the people of Liverpool City Region. The Halloween period is one of the busiest times of the year for our students and the Media Make Up industry as a whole. The standard of work our students are producing is exceptional and I am confident that many have bright futures in the industry.”
