Course Details
On this short course you will gain knowledge/practical skills of using a computer/laptop.
The course is run as a part-time course and is 3 hours long (5:30pm -8:30pm).
- Recognise and use interface features.
- Access relevant applications e.g. Word, Excel and File Management.
- Log off and shut down a computer.
- Word Processing using Microsfot Word.
- Spreadsheets using Microsfot Excel.
- Minimise physical stress demonstrating awareness of basic Health & Safety and adjusting ICT system accordingly.
- Use input and output devices demonstrating use of keyboard, mouse or a scroll wheel
- Follow safety and security practices by demonstrating the use of a password and change if appropriate.
