Preparing to Work in Schools - Level 1

This qualification prepares learners for further learning and training whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting.

You'll explore how to support the wellbeing of children and young people, and how they develop from early years through to adolescence.

It's open to everyone considering a role in a school, including mature learners, learners with special educational needs and those for whom English is an additional language.

Guest speakers from local schools will share what working in education is really like, giving you the chance to ask questions and hear first-hand about different roles.
