HBC Rider Free Bus Service

Ride for Free from South Liverpool to Hugh Baird College

Starting September 2024, Hugh Baird College will have a free bus service for students living in the south of Liverpool.

The HBC Rider will travel between four stops in the south of Liverpool and the College during term time, Monday to Friday.

The four stops are located in the following areas:

  • Childwall / Belle Vale
  • Calderstones / Allerton
  • Aigburth
  • Dingle / Toxteth

The bus is only available during term time:

  • Thursday 31 August 2023 to Friday 20 October 2023.
  • Monday 30 October 2023 to Thursday 21 December 2023.
  • Monday 8 January 2024 to Friday 9 February 2024.
  • Monday 19 February 2024 to Thursday 28 March 2024.
  • Monday 15 April 2024 to Friday 25 May 2024.
  • Monday 3 June 2024 to Friday 21 June 2024.

The bus is operated by Maghull Coaches and is a 40-seater single-decker coach. The bus will visibly show 'Hugh Baird College' or 'HBC Rider' on the front display, so it is easy for you to see
