Hugh Baird College celebrates award win at the National Fitness Professional Awards


Hugh Baird College has won the Training Provider of the Year award at the 2022 National Fitness Professional Awards (also known as the Fit Pro Awards).

The annual Fit Pro Awards recognise the hard-working achievements of independent and commercial businesses within the UK's thriving Fitness industry.

The College’s Sport, Exercise and Fitness department offers a range of courses that help students progress to employment or university. The courses include sports, fitness instruction, personal training and sports massage therapy. The students benefit from being taught by industry-experienced staff and have access to a state-of-the-art gym facility, Lifestyle Fitness.

Michael Carney, Course Leader of Sport and Uniformed Services at Hugh Baird College, said:

Receiving this award is a fantastic achievement for us and is a testament to my colleagues' hard work. We have worked with the best in the industry to build our programme of courses. They provide prospective fitness professionals with all the skills, qualifications and experience they need to excel in a competitive industry.

Eryn Fitzhenry, a Hugh Baird College Personal Training and Instruction Level 3 student from Aintree, said:
