Since I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a Firefighter. I decided to enrol onto the Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Public Services at Hugh Baird College and now I work at Merseyside Fire & Rescue Heritage and Education Centre as a Volunteer Cadet Instructor.

My course taught me everything I needed to know about the Armed Forces and Emergency Services, it was amazing to be taught by all ex-service members who knew everything there was to know. It was definitely the best decision I’ve ever made!
