Daniel Byrne, Director, Yeti Creative
“As a creative agency in a city as vast as Liverpool, you have to maintain a strong social responsibility and providing opportunity to up and coming creators is something we’re incredibly passionate about. We know first-hand the difficulties of gaining real, industry standard experience straight out of university. The goal is to be employable; to hone the skills you’ve nurtured through university and turn them into a career. I strongly believe that the Hugh Baird University Centre shares this ethos, and this is one of the reasons why working with their team has been so successful.”
Anthony Gilboy, Contemporary Media Practice - Foundation Degree (FdA)
"After this course, I want to go on to do the top up year here to achieve my BA (Hons) in Contemporary Media Practice. Then I plan on getting my PGCE because I would like to teach. The support services available in the University Centre are really helpful, especially the drop in centre where you can ask the Study Skills team to look over essays before the submission date."
