The workforce of the Early Years sector has changed in recent years with an increasing number of practitioners now holding, or working towards, Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or Qualified Teaching Status.
Whether you are new to the profession, or have worked in the industry for some time, studying for a professionally accredited programme in Early Years is a great way to get ahead.
The courses in this section have been developed to meet the requirements of the Government’s response to the national consultation on the future of the children’s workforce. This important initiative outlines the central role that the workforce has in improving the life chances of children and young people. It implies a more collaborative and integrated approach for professionals working with children and young people. The courses are validated by The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and successful students on the Foundation Degree are able to top up the qualification to a full honours degree with just one year of further study (full time option).
Our experienced and professionally qualified staff will support you to apply key theories in education and child development. The team all have industry experience and will help you to make the most of your studies on these intensive and rewarding courses.
