Business Administration - Level 2

This course is designed to build upon the fundamental office skills gained at Level 2, or introduce you to a variety of jobs within an office environment and to gain valuable office skills.

After completing Business Administration Level 2 you will have the confidence to apply for jobs within this field. You will study office systems and procedures and learn how important it is to be an effective and co-operative team member and how to communicate with colleagues at all levels. You will gain skills in telephone, reception, word processing, health and safety, stock, spreadsheets and databases work within a realistic working environment.

What are the entry requirements?

In order to qualify for this course, you will need at least one of the following:

  • 3 GCSEs at grade D (new grading system: 3) or above


  • A relevant Level 1 qualification


  • Industry related experience

Study Programme

If you are aged 16-19, this qualification will form a substantial part of your study programme. The study programme has been designed to ensure that young people are fully equipped and ready to move on to the world of work or higher level courses. In addition to your main qualification, will you also get the opportunity to undertake relevant and CV bolstering work experience out in your chosen industry. You will also be supported through maths and English qualifications.
